Extracting the Hardware Info File (suffix .json) from a Hi-5

• Place a USB drive in either the USB-C port on the top of the Hi-5, or the USB-A port under the hard plastic cover in the bottom of the hand unit. It is also possible to use SD card (or similar) with an adapter in either of these USB ports.
• Push the PAGE button to navigate to the menu and then scroll down to SYSTEM > UPDATE > Export HW Info.

• The HW Info file will be stored on your external storage device in the folder ARRI > Hi-5 > Licenses. Example file name: HI-5-4001.json
• Connect your drive to a computer so it can be accessed when registering your device.
