The Focusbug License activates remote Cine RT control capabilities via the Hi-5 hand unit. It is mandatory to set the ARRI Hi-Speed serial protocol in the Focusbug Cine RT system.

The license works with the following setups:

  • RIA-1 as a radio host connected via a Focusbug serial cable to the Cine RT system.
  • cforce mini RF (SUP 2.1 or later) as a radio host in combination with a LCUBE CUB-1 (SUP 3.0 or later) connected via a Focusbug serial cable to the Cine RT system.

Important info: Integration in the ALEXA 35 is planned and this Hi-5 license key will work in combination with the ALEXA 35 once available.


As the ARRI Hi-Speed serial protocol provides 6x faster distance readout on a hand unit, it is always recommended to set the ARRI Hi-Speed protocol in the Focusbug Cine RT system when connecting to a LCUBE CUB-1.
